The International Car Wash Association’s signature event returned to Nashville, TN, May 10-13. The Car Wash Show took over more than 205,000 square feet of expo space in the Music City Center, featuring 455 exhibitors and more than 9,600 attendees.
The show kicked off on Sunday, May 10, with multiple car wash tours, a new company preview party, and a Talk Car Wash After Dark event. The show really started to cook on Monday with a full educational agenda, trade show time, the annual Big Bash event, and more After Dark networking opportunities.
Tuesday featured additional educational opportunities, six more hours of trade show exploration, and the annual exhibitor booth crawl. The festivities came to an end on Wednesday morning with three more hours of trade show strolling.
As always, the event’s educational docket had a little something for everyone. More than 60 sessions featured top industry insiders exploring six educational tracks: talent, trends, self-service/in-bay automatic, finance and operations, marketing and customer experience, and maintenance and equipment.
In addition, keynote speakers from the ICA, United Airlines, Chick-fil-A, and Netflix helped add excitement and out-of-industry insight into common business challenges. On Tuesday, the CEO of Mr. Wash AG, Richard Enning, was inducted into the Car Wash Hall of Fame. Enning is the second generation leading the Germany-based wash chain, which is regarded as one of the finest run in all of Europe.
