WOW Carwash is turning miles into hope with Racing for Wishes, a multi-state racing campaign dedicated to raising at least $10,000 for Make-A-Wish Nevada to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in the state.
Racing for Wishes was created by Heath Pomerantz, CEO of WOW Carwash, to complement his involvement in a six-race series with Gridlife, a national motorsports and high-performance racing tour. Pomerantz is competing in races in South Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, and California from April through September 2026.
“I am excited that my hobby of racing cars can benefit Make-A-Wish Nevada and change a child’s life,” said Heath Pomerantz, CEO of WOW Carwash. “Every dollar helps bring hope, strength, and joy to wish children and families who need it most. I hope WOW guests will join us to support Racing for Wishes. Between the miles I complete on the race track and the amount WOW Carwash will donate through guest purchases; I am confident we can make a real difference.”
There are three ways for people to support Racing for Wishes during Pomerantz’s race season:
- Pledge Per Mile. Commit to a donation amount for every mile Pomerantz completes on the track by signing up on the Racing for Wishes Pledge-Per-Mile Donor Page.
- Wash for Wishes. Visit any WOW Carwash location and use promo code WISH when purchasing a single wash via the WOW app, and WOW Carwash will donate $2 from every qualifying wash to Make-A-Wish Nevada.
- Give Directly. Make a one-time or recurring donation online.
