Christian Severt has joined Soapy Joe’s Car Wash as chief information officer. The appointment underscores the company’s focus on strengthening its technology infrastructure, advancing cybersecurity, and driving digital transformation to support continued growth.

Severt will lead technology strategy, cybersecurity, and the company’s ongoing digital transformation. A U.S. Navy and U.S. Army dual-service veteran with more than two decades of cross-industry experience, Severt has built his career on modernizing infrastructure, strengthening security, and delivering technology that drives business growth and enhances the customer experience. His leadership reflects a disciplined, results-focused approach to innovation, grounded in deep technical expertise and practical execution.

Severt joins Soapy Joe’s from Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he was a cybersecurity leader for nearly four years. Prior to AWS, he was the director of cybersecurity infrastructure at Costco. Severt has also held roles at CuraCloud Corporation, Premera Blue Cross, and Microsoft, among other organizations. His career spans more than 21 years in IT infrastructure & operations, including 14 years in security and eight years in leadership roles.
