Cobblestone Car Wash continued its annual charitable initiative with Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September.

Throughout the month, $1 from every Platinum Express Exterior wash at each Cobblestone Colorado location, and every Platinum full-service wash, which includes interior cleaning, at the Sheridan, CO location, directly supported Children’s Hospital Colorado’s childhood cancer research.

“Being able to give back to our community and really make an impact means so much to us,” said Donny Green, director of operations of Cobblestone Colorado. “We’re excited to continue this now five-year campaign to support Children’s Hospital Colorado and all of the great work they are doing to combat childhood cancer so that no child or family has to face a devastating battle with cancer.”

About 15,000 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States. Through this campaign, Cobblestone and Children’s Hospital Colorado aim to improve treatment options, accelerate the development of new therapies, enhance survivorship care, and reduce disparities in childhood cancer outcomes.

“Partnering with local businesses and deepening roots in the community helps fuel our mission,” said Sharon McMeel, chief development officer of Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. “We appreciate Cobblestone and its philanthropic support over the years toward our efforts to eliminate childhood cancer through groundbreaking research.”
