JE Adams Industries of Cedar Rapids, IA, a manufacturer of vacuums, air machines, and combination units, encouraged its employees to collect food for the Salvation Army. The company set a goal of 1,000 pounds, but ended up with 2,054 pounds of food/supplies for local needy families. Lonnie Schwartz, the companys president and CEO, described himself as overwhelmed by the support from the companys employees.
