Michael Pena of Mobile Auto Detail in Houston, TX, who earned "Master Detailer" designation from the Attention to Details professional detail training program earlier this year, collaborated with Dallas detailer Darryl Kimmis of Mirror Image Detailing and Terry and Ernestine Wilbanks of Dr. Detail & Wash in Las Vegas to be the exclusive detailers for the Houston leg of the 2012 Porsche World Roadshow held at the Angleton Texas Motorsports Ranch in October.
It was the second time Pena had been called on by Porsche to maintain their luxurious automotive line, having traveled to Dallas in 2011 for a show at the Texas Motor Speedway where he detailed over 50 vehicles. With a fleet of 42 vehicles, the 2012 Roadshow was an international driving event designed to give Porsche enthusiasts and potential customers the opportunity to drive a large sampling of Porsche models for one day in a variety of challenging exercises that demonstrate the vehicles abilities.
Pena, the Wilbanks, and Kimmis prepared the Porsche Roadshow vehicles for display, and maintained the fleet throughout the driving and racing event, which saw the new Porsches sprinting around the track at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.
