NRCC Wrap-up

The 20th annual Northeast Regional Carwash Convention was held October 19-21 at The Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

The New York State Car Wash Association hosted the event that saw 1,320 attendees visit 235 exhibitor booths.

The event kicked off on Monday night with the opening reception held at The Water Club. The attendees got down to business Tuesday morning with an Early Bird panel discussion, Customer Loyalty Programs seminar, keynote address, and ICA address/awards luncheon.

At the awards luncheon Walt Hartl won the Distinguished Person Award, Tom Hofman Jr. took home the Advocacy Award, and Ron Bousquet was the first-ever inductee into the NRCC Hall of Fame.
Following the luncheon the expo floor was open to the attendees.

The event came to a close Wednesday with another Early Bird panel, a talk on marketing in today’s
economy, and four more hours of trade show floor time.
