Preview: 2017 - The Car Wash Show

The International Carwash Association’s annual event — The Car Wash Show™ — returns to Las Vegas for 2017, taking place April 3-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Though a fourth day has been added to the schedule, the first day of the event is dedicated solely to two seminars: one for emerging leaders, the other for new investors. Education for the rest of the attendees kicks off at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, April 4.

Attendees will have three opportunities to socialize and network with peers. The welcome reception takes place on Tuesday right on the tradeshow floor. On Wednesday morning, breakfast precedes the State of the Industry presentation, and later, in the afternoon, attendees can roam the tradeshow floor in search of a drink in what the organizers have labeled an “exhibitor booth crawl.”

Following the State of the Industry address on Wednesday, Governor Tom Ridge will deliver the keynote presentation. Ridge was the first Secretary of Homeland Security and is a former governor of Pennsylvania. In this presentation, titled “From Risk to Resilience: The Global Mission to Secure Cyberspace,” Ridge brings the priorities of cyber security into perspective. The evolution of cyber security strategy and diplomacy, what to expect from the next generation of cyber attacks, and how to navigate it all mark this compelling, insightful presentation of a growing and global 21st century threat.
