The Time to Shine car wash is being proposed off of Folly Road just past the intersection of Fort Johnson Road. Right now there are two homes on the properties. Time to Shine’s representative is asking the board for a “special exemption.”

After a soft opening in March, the Eton Car Wash opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 13. Algonquin’s Village Board approved on Tuesday the construction of an automotive car wash, automobile tire store/repair facility and drive-thru restaurant with outdoor seating on a three-lot property near the southeast corner of Route 62 and Compton Drive.
