The Northeast Regional Carwash Convention (NRCC) has announced that former New Jersey Governor and presidential candidate Chris Christie will be the keynote speaker at its 2021 event, scheduled for October 4-6 in Atlantic City.
Christie is currently a senior legal and political commentator for ABC News, the managing member of the Christie Law Firm and Christie 55 Solutions, LLC, and the author of Let Me Finish, a no-holds-barred account of his rise to power. Previously, he also served as chairman of the Trump Presidential Transition Committee. “His insight and political experience, as well as his ability to storytell and entertain, should be a hit,” said Dave DuGoff, the 2021 show chairman.
The host hotel for the 2021 convention will be the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which reopened in June 2018 following a $500 million renovation. “We are all excited to be back on Atlantic City’s iconic boardwalk,” said DuGoff. “It will really add to the entire NRCC experience, and the new Hard Rock is very impressive.”
For 2021, the annual welcome reception moves from the host hotel to the Atlantic City Convention Center to make it more inclusive. It will run for only an hour at the conclusion of the first day’s exhibit hours. The venue and timeframe change will enable more attendees to go out to dinner with suppliers and fellow car washers following the reception.
