Brown Bear Car Wash conducted 29,756 free washes for customers on August 27 in celebration of its 63rd anniversary at 25 tunnel wash locations across the Puget Sound area. Over the past 14 years the family-owned, Seattle-based company has provided over 472,000 free “Beary Clean” washes to celebrate its August “birthday” and honor former and current service members on Veterans Day.
“It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our customers,” said Brown Bear founder and CEO Victor Odermat. “For a hectic 12 hours, we added sparkle and shine to thousands of cars and trucks while generating plenty of smiles among our customers during these challenging times.”
Odermat opened the company’s first location in 1957 at 1800 15th Ave West in Seattle. Brown Bear owns and operates 52 car washes throughout the Puget Sound area and Spokane. For more information, visit www.brownbear.com.
